Patrick Vaughn Stump (*April 27 1984 in Glenview, Cook County, Illinois) is an American musician and record producer. He was lead singer and guitarist of the pop-punk band Fall Out Boy.
Patrick Stump was originally a drummer. In his first semester at the high school he played for a band called “Public Display of Infection”. By chance he met Joe Trohman, guitarist of Fall Out Boy, as this about the band Neurosis spoke at the well he was interested. Shortly thereafter, he met Pete Wentz, the bassist of Fall Out Boy to Wentzs for new project, a punk-rock band to audition. He sang Through Being Cool by Saves the Day.

Patrick Stump now plays several instruments, including guitar, bass, piano, trumpet and drums. Patrick Stump wrote the guitar and bass parts for Fall Out Boy.

Most recently he worked with The Hush Sound together, The Cab and Tyga. He also worked as a singer in the song Cupid’s Chokehold the band Gym Class Heroes with.

Patrick Stump is also active as a music producer, primarily for artists from the label Decaydance Records, a sub label of Fueled By Ramen.

His real name is Stumph, but Pete Wentz Patrick advised that to omit the “h” to avoid any confusion in the debate.

From 1969 to 1971 he was a member of The Johnny Cash Show on TV Sehner ABC as host of the Johnny Cash band The Tennessee Three .

Blake is in the credits of the Bob Dylan album Nashville Skyline and the Johnny Cash album Orange Blossom Special performed. He was on the Steve Earle’s comeback album Train A ‘Comin’ and the excellent multi-platinum O Brother Where Art Thou? involved soundtrack, which revived interest in bluegrass music and a Grammy Award for Album of the Year 2002 won. He was also on the Down from the Mountain tour involved, which resulted from the success.
